Voices for Reason is a non-profit, non-partisan organization started by friends in Alaska in order to stop the threat to democracy of a second Trump presidency. In 2024 we organized the writing of 20,000 post cards to swing state voters. Despite these efforts, Trump won both the electoral college and the popular vote and has quickly proven, once again, how dangerous he is to our democracy.
In reaction to the firehose of autocratic actions taken by President Trump our PAC will remain organized and prepare for the long battle ahead.
Our mission: Ensuring regular free and fair elections, the rule of law, checks and balances, and peaceful transfers of power by stopping the US government’s descent into authoritarianism.
The VFR PAC steering committee meets regularly. We will increase the number of our members and supporters and direct them to actions they can take now and in the future (see Take Action).
Actions that will inform citizens about the rise of authoritarianism in the US and the damage it is doing.
Actions that might persuade members of Congress to put a check on Trump or risk losing in the next election.
Actions that will counter the spread of disinformation.
We are planning coordinated actions involving all our members and supporters. The main goal is to elect a majority to Congress in 2026 that will work toward a healthy constitutional democracy. Join us.
