We’re writing letters to the editor to let the world know that we are not ok with the direction our country is headed. Please sign up using the form below if you’re willing to let your voice be heard.

Take Action

Voices for Reason is exploring the best actions we can take to influence the future of our democracy. Coordinated actions in which all our supporters can participate. The more supporters, the better, so please join us and encourage your friends and family to do the same. Join us!

PROTEST RALLY To influence citizens and Alaska’s delegation on Saturday, June 14, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, join the gathering at the Federal Building to raise our voices in defense of democracy and the rule of law. (See Events)

REACH OUT Don’t give up on your neighbors, friends, and family who have been unworried about deepening authoritarianism and have voted accordingly. Finding common ground with these folks is essential to change the country’s trajectory. Encourage them to get out of their political information bubble while you spend some time getting out of your own.

  15. Engage in political conversation one person who voted for Trump in 2024 with a sincere desire to understand

  17. Highlight a positive effort or outcome on your social media by sharing stories of activism, progress, or successful policy changes.

  18. Donate to non-partisan organizations who are fighting for democracy such as Common Cause, League of Women Voters, Democracy Fund, and Protect Democracy.

  19. Engage outside of your media and social media bubble - Interact and discuss with other citizens with a sincere desire to understand where Trump voters are coming from.

  20. Report misinformation on social media when you see it by using the platform's reporting tools and sharing verified facts from reliable sources.

  21. Join or start a letter-writing or postcard campaign by gathering a group to write to lawmakers about key issues affecting your community.

  22. Sign a petition supporting a cause aligned with democracy and justice through platforms like Change.org or directly on government websites.
