The next large-scale nationwide protest will be on Saturday, October 18. In Ketchikan, we will gather in front of the Federal building at noon, and display our signs to passers by. Definitely bring your clever and on-point signs. Then at 12:30 we will join up and march from the Fed building to the covered area at Berth 3 (just south Sockeye Sams) in order to rally together and listen to a speaker or two. (There will be a few chairs there for those that need them.)

We have to raise our voices to show that most Americans do not want this rapidly increasing authoritarianism. Please mark your calendars and plan to come and peacefully protest, rain or shine. Let’s be a part of greatly exceeding the numbers of Americans who participated in the June 14 “No Kings” protest, which saw over 5 million people in the United States and 300 people in Ketchikan take part.
