There will be a community forum at the Ted Ferry Civic Center on Wednesday, October 8th, at 5:30 pm.
The purpose of the meeting is to hear directly from Ketchikan residents about how recent changes in federal programs and policies are affecting daily life here. Topics include things like Medicare, SNAP, the US Forest Service, the National Weather Service, and tariffs.
Whether you’ve noticed impacts in your work, your household, or just have questions, this is an opportunity to share your experiences and hear from neighbors. Input from this meeting will be summarized and shared with regional and state leaders so that the local perspective is represented.
All community members are welcome to attend.
